About Sarah

Sarah is the Director of HR & OD for a prominent charity in Scotland, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in Human Resources across the UK and Ireland.

In 2022, she founded UnravelHR, a venture born from her deep commitment to simplifying people management. Although personal reasons temporarily paused her plans, Sarah's dedication to transforming workplaces remains her personal mission.

As a CIPD-qualified professional and an ILM Level 7 certified Executive Coach and Mentor, Sarah possesses a wealth of knowledge in leading and supporting organisations to nurture and develop their people.

Her passion for workplace wellbeing drives her mission to create thriving, resilient environments where employees feel valued, engaged, and supported. Sarah's mantra, "Putting People and Wellbeing First," encapsulates her belief in the power of a people-centric approach to achieving sustainable success.

Recently accredited as a Burnout Awareness Coach, Sarah has successfully guided numerous organisations and provided one-on-one coaching to a significant number of senior leaders and managers. Her proven track record in the voluntary sector underscores her expertise in developing leaders and managers who can support their workforce through a compassionate and effective lens. This approach leads to reduced stress, decreased sickness absence, and enhanced overall resilience and employee engagement.

The name UnravelHR reflects Sarah's belief that while people management can be challenging, it doesn't have to be complicated. With the right expertise, tools, and ongoing support, leaders and managers can effectively address their people challenges.
